Man Arrested in Relation to North Brunswick Accident that Killed One

A man has been arrested after a 22-year-old man was killed in a high speed North Brunswick crash on September 28. Shareef Holder, 28, was arrested with bail set at $1 million after police determined he was the cause of the crash that killed Luis Rodriguez. Holder caused a different New Brunswick crash earlier on the night of September 28 and left the scene of the accident. Police later pulled him over in connection with the crash, and while an officer ran his plate, Holder fled in his vehicle. Minutes later, he hit three cars at a traffic light, one of which was driven by Rodriguez, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Rodriguez leaves behind a girlfriend that is pregnant with twins.
