North Brunswick Semi-Truck Accident Injures Three

A North Brunswick truck accident involving at least six cars and a tractor-trailer injured three people on December 27. According to the North Brunswick Township Police, the accident occurred when a tractor-trailer failed to slow down for traffic on Route 1 north. The pile-up occurred as a result of the tractor-trailer driver’s failure to stop.

At least six cars were involved in the accident, and three people were sent to local hospitals with injuries. Several other victims refused medical treatment at the scene. Route 1 was closed for more than three hours after the accident, causing significant traffic delays.

According to officials, it has not yet been determined why the tractor-trailer did not slow for traffic. An investigation into the accident is ongoing and no charges have been filed at the time of this report.

This accident occurs almost two weeks after a Saddle Brook truck accident injured six people on December 16. According to officials, the collision occurred between a box truck and a minivan on Route 80 near Exit 62A. The box truck allegedly collided with the minivan and ended up coming to rest on top of the van. The cab of the truck caught fire in the accident, and the driver of the truck was cut out of the cab by rescuers. Four people in the minivan were also injured, as well as the passenger of the box truck.

New Jersey truck accidents are often caused by distracted or negligent truck drivers. Commercial trucks can weigh as much as 40 tons and can reach 80 feet long. When these massive trucks are involved in collisions with passenger vehicles, the resulting injuries can be catastrophic.
