One Dead, 4 Injured in Mount Olive Accident

A woman was killed and four other people were injured when a commuter vehicle overturned on Route 80 in a Mount Olive Township accident on November 28. According to authorities, the vehicle, described as a bus or large van, may have overturned when another car that left the scene cut the vehicle off along Route 80. Twelve people were inside the vehicle at the time of the collision, and one woman died shortly after the accident from extensive injuries. Four other passengers were taken to local hospitals with critical injuries.

Authorities are still investigating the accident and reported that it was not immediately clear whether high speed was a factor in the collision. This accident was the second fatal accident in Morris County on Thanksgiving.

Buses and other commuter vehicles carry the risk of injuring multiple people when they are involved in motor vehicle collisions. Negligent drivers that disobey laws and cause fatal accidents deserve to be held responsible for their actions. When a loved one is killed in a fatal accident, surviving family members are left to deal with significant emotional, physical and financial hardships. Those who are severely injured in vehicle accidents may be left with broken or lost limbs, catastrophic brain and spinal cord injuries and other critical injuries that may require extensive recovery time and rehabilitation. If you are involved in an accident caused by a negligent driver, you deserve compensation for your suffering.
